This is so amazing

If you're anything like me, when you get wrapped up in a texting conversation you dont pay attention to anything around you ... ANYTHING. I'll be walking into people, poles, streets, whatever. If im focused on a text then i lose site of everything. This can potentially be dangerous. What if im not paying attention and walk into the street and BAM, I get hit by a car.

Well a new android app is here to save all of us distracted people. Its called WalkSafe. This app will actually alert you if there is a potentially dangerous car coming at you. To me this is awesome. It detects the car and the position is is face to tell whether it is a threat to you or not. Its basically looking both ways across the street for you. If i could get this on my iphone i would. Id even get it installed on my car to help me drive!

PC vs Mac

I know a lot of people will stand by their PC laptops and computers still to this day, but i still have a hard time figuring out why. I grew up with a PC and it had nothing but problems. Just to start it up was like a 5 minute wait. Once it got started you had to wait for the pop ups to happen or else the computer would freeze if you tried to open an application. You would think "hey that way a while ago, they are better now", but no. My parents PC always has some new virus on it. And if i ever want to attempt to use the internet i need to know not to get my hopes up, because a majority of the time it freezes.

Now, when i think of computers i think of fast, efficiency, reliability. Which is exactly why i got an apple lap top. It takes about 1 minute for my computer to load up. And once it turns on there are no unnecessary pop ups that are going to freeze my computer. I have ran into a few problems with apple over the years. There is something i call the rainbow of death. This is when your computer decides to freeze at the worst possible moment and the curser spins like a rainbow. And the biggest thing is my hard drive has crashed before. But apple is always available to fix and replace it. Overall I dont understand how PC computers are even popular still, but im sticking with Apple.

Blue Ray

I learned a few days ago that I had no clue what a blue-ray player did. Apparently you this hdmi cord to be plugged in for it to even work . I have now set my dvd player up completely and it is crazy the difference one cord can make.

Everything is so much more crisp on the screen. Its almost like a 3d movie even though its still in 2d. Fight scenes in movies are WAY more intense then when its watched on a regular player. Where I really noticed it was when I was watching The Hangover. The scene of them driving to Vegas almost looks real, like you are in the car next to them watching. 

There is one main downfall about the blue-ray players. Now i've got to start over my movie collection. Plus blue-rays are more expensive then regular movies. Although it is still worth it to be able to watch movies in such high definition. 

Machines in the work place

Back in the day we used to build everything by hand. Of course this was WAY back before my days, but that is how it used to be. Now everything is manufactured in a shop. This takes away jobs, saves time, and cuts costs(in some ways).

An example of this is shoes, or any clothing. I used to work for vans and of course that company has to have a way to mass produce shoes fast and cheap. All of the shoes are man out of the country. What is crazy is that it costs about $45 for a pair of shoes, yet it only cost Vans around 3 bucks to have to shoes made. Basically they are making bank off of us. 

This does help companies that need large amounts of products made, but i feel that this is a negative thing. The worst part about it is that almost all of these shops are out of the country. This means less jobs for Americans. I feel this technology is great! But in needs to be brought back to our own country.

Adobe

I think it's crazy the things we can do with all if these adobe programs. People can launch websites from their own home and change photos or whatever you want to do. Some of the highest paying jobs have to do with these programs. It's great also because these programs can be used for recreational use. Overall I am just grateful for being able to have these programs on my own computer.
