Its began with AOL
I remember when i was in elementary school and my parents were trying to teach me what AOL was. At the time i only new how to play games on the computer, I had no clue what the internet was. It was crazy to me to think that if i typed out a message and press send that someone whole be able to read it. Obviously social networking has come a long way since AOL. Now we have facebook which can be your best friend or your worst nightmare. It is crazy how we can sign in and within a matter of minutes share our biggest secrets with close friends or random strangers. Facebook even has the option of adding an expected child to your family list. To most people that is something so personal, yet it would become very accessible for people to know by adding it on your page. I believe these social networks are great in the way that they help us keep in touch with loved ones and friends, but on the other hand i can see them being very destructive to those who do not use it with caution!

Catching up with technology
So, recently I decided to join the rest of the world and get an iPhone. I was so excited. Now I can search the web, update my facebook, take pictures, and play games. Obviously i needed this phone. The main reason to having a phone is making calls and texting. These are the only two things i struggle with when using my phone, yet they are the most important features. Most of the time I am texting on my phone, I feel like it is trying to write its own texts. The predictive texting throws me off every time. I have come to the conclusion that I have just not caught up to this form of technology. And i better catch up before i wont know how to use a phone at all!
